LXRA receives top honours at 2018 Social Enterprise Awards
LXRA has received top honours at the 2018 Social Enterprise Awards by winning the Social Procurement Leadership Award.
The Social Enterprise Awards recognise buyers and suppliers for their outstanding contributions to the growth of the social procurement movement – including their work in brokering commercial deals, showing leadership, and driving advocacy and practice improvement.
And LXRA weren’t the only big winners. The rail industry was well represented with our partners at John Holland also taking home awards.
John Holland won the Social Procurement in Action Award for their work with TRY Build, Integrated Medical and the Brotherhood of St Lawrence on our North Western level crossing removal projects, as well as the Deal of the Year Award, which they accepted alongside Yarra View Nursery for their work on the Mernda Rail Extension Project.
The awards closed out the National Social Traders Conference, which brought together social enterprises from across the country to celebrate the achievements, successes and contributions to positive economic and social outcomes that are driven by social procurement.
