Graduates take a dive into Rail

In February, seven graduates from Transdev took part in an afternoon workshop and tour at the Rail Academy Newport.

Graduates were given an insight into the unique and diverse job opportunities available in the rail industry, including a look into Victoria’s biggest transport program, Victoria's Big Build.

Their day included a range of interactive sessions such as a practical team-building exercise of building a simulated track and putting on a version of vision-hindering goggles that demonstrated the importance of workplace safety.

During their Rail Academy tour, students were also lucky enough to spend some time inside the brand new simulated High Capacity Metro Train (HCMT), which will be home to many training courses and rail programs to help run these bigger and better trains across the network.
